FITNESS IN THE PARK
We are excited to partner with Calistoga Recreation on our upcoming Fitness in the Park series. The program will feature 3 classes every other Tuesday at Pioneer Park. Each week will feature a different theme so you never get bored. Classes are suitable for all levels. The series is FREE to residents within the Calistoga School limits.
Aug 7 - Yoga in the Park
Whether you are new to yoga or have a strong practice, this class is for you!
Traditional yoga poses set to today's music. Move through yoga poses with fun and motivating music. This class focuses on moving with the flow rather than on alignment. One hour of FUN - suitable for all levels. Adults only.
Aug 21 - Zumba & Zumbini
We take the "work" out of workout, by mixing low-intensity and high-intensity dance moves for an interval-style, calorie-burning dance fitness party.

MYZONE HEART RATE TRAINING
My Zone heart rate training is a combination of cardio intervals and functional training movements designed to help you burn 500-1000 calories in one session. The goal is to spend 12-20 minutes in your optimal zone 4 (80-90% of max heart rate) to produce a post-exercise "afterburn effect" meaning extra fat and calories are burned for up to 36 hours following your workout. Because your workout is guided by your own heart rate, the My Zone classes are available for all fitness levels.
