Donavan's Taco Seasoned Poached Egg

Cut some small pieces of potatoes and cook with your beef to stay fuller throughout the say and for some healthy complex carbs.

Add some avocado and you’ll feel satisfied and full for longer throughout your day and add some healthy fats into your day.

Add hot sauce of your choice for extra spice!

  • 2-3 eggs 

  • 0.5 lb of organic ground beef - 90% lean(regular ground beef or ground turkey works)

  • 2 tablespoons of McCormicks Taco Seasoning

  • Lawrys seasoning salt

  • Pepper (if desired)


  1. Prep pot and heat water to a light boil for 5-10 minutes.

  2. On a separate burner cook ground beef in non-stick skillet on medium high heat. 

  3. Add Lawrys salt when the meat is medium rare then stir.

  4. Add the taco seasoning once its medium well stir to evenly mix season with meat. Cut off heat after you mix the season in thoroughly.

  5. Set meat aside in skillet until its time to plate and begin to work on your eggs.

  6. Poach your egg(s) or cook your egg how you prefer (I prefer a running yolk for this dish).

  7. Plate your ground beef in a bowl and lightly place your eggs on top. 

  8. Enjoy!
