The best thing you can do for your body first thing in the morning is stretch. This awakens not only your muscles but your mind. Allowing your muscles to prepare themselves for the day ahead. The below stretches can be done every morning (and night). With the exception of Sun Salutations hold each stretch for 20 - 30 and Sun Salutations for 3 full breaths.
