Taking Your Workouts Indoors

Whether you work from home or are choosing to spend more time at home, taking your workouts indoors is easy and we’ve got some tips on working out at home or indoors this Fall and Winter season.

Zoom-Friendly Options

With flu and cold season upon us, staying at home will become some people's preference for some time, but you don’t have to sacrifice your health and fitness goals in the process. Like everyone else, we’ve transitioned to a digital platform to help our members and guests stay on track while staying safe and social distancing. Zoom has become a great platform for us to provide the same excellent quality live fitness classes for everyone who is traveling or staying at home. With most classes accessible on zoom, it's easy to keep yourself on track and stay fit at home or while traveling. To find our current Zoom offerings, go here

Playlists

If you like doing your own workouts but find yourself needing inspiration or wanting some direction then try a guided workout playlist. Infused with your favorite music and coming in a variety of genres, from EDM to hip hop, pop cardio, and more, you can move through guided workouts from Napa Valley’s best Personal Trainers, giving you variety and ease of use.

Keep Fitness a Priority

If leaving the house is not something you can do, you can get creative to get the same amazing results as a gym workout. Use household items like books, heavy cans, Ankle bands, or Glute Bands in place of weights or stairs and chairs in place of equipment like benches. Also remember that jump rope, running in place and HIIT circuits are usually equipment-free. If you need help planning workouts then sign up here for an interactive fitness App with well-rounded at-home exercises and classes ranging from yoga, meditation, pilates, HIIT, Spin, and more. Also, go to our YouTube page for more free workouts with minimal or no equipment necessary. Our OnDemand platform is another great resource for fitness with access to classes and workout programs that you can follow from anywhere.

Commit To Your Goals

Many people have similar goals, whether it's losing weight, getting toned, or building muscle. Starting a fitness program can help you get on track with your goals, completing everything on your own time and with little to no equipment. Now that digital fitness is an option for many people there are more programs for everyone, even including yoga and meditation, ranging from 10-day to 30-day programs. This year’s Rise Up Challenge, from January 5th to February 3rd, 2021, will cater to our client’s specific goals. Each client will have access to the Calistoga Fit App, all Calistoga Fit classes, a seasonal meal plan, weekly workouts, and access to a coach to help them along the way.

Written by Napa Valley’s Best Personal Trainers, these programs are designed with the latest physiology and fitness science to give all users the best possible results. Starting a training program can help you get started and keep you on the right track to tackle your fitness goals while staying independent and socially distanced, not to mention they can be an excellent resource in the future once you’ve completed them, allowing you to get back to the basics and improve any time you’d like.
